Volunteer Opportunities

Marketing & Communications (MARCOM) Committee Member
Responsibilities include…

• Work with the Marketing Committee to coordinate CCAT promotional and communications activities
• Collaborate with New Wave Media Inc. to monitor and update CCAT social media tools (ie. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
• Work with the IT Committee to ensure the website is populated with current and informative content
• Write event recaps for inclusion in CCAT newsletter and posting to the website
• Other marketing / communications duties as required (to be delegated by the MarCom Committee Chair)

Program Committee Vice-Chair
Responsibilities include…

• Work with Program Committee Chair to develop and implement an annual program of monthly networking events held once a month from September to May. Networking events include Receptions, Breakfast Events, etc. Event themes are gathered through a stakeholder focus group.
• Work with Program Committee Chair to manage Event Leads to organize the monthly networking events. Event Leads are delegated with coordinating the logistics for each event, but will need someone to ensure they are meeting deadlines and completing requirements.

Responsibilities include.....

• Work with the Program Committee and Event Leads to coordinate and implement annual program of monthly networking events
• Work with the Marketing and Communications Committee to ensure events are being advertised and promoted
• Support the Event Leads with coordination of the monthly events as needed (i.e. suggesting or inviting speakers, etc.)

Volunteer Committee Vice-Chair
Responsibilities include…

• Work with the Volunteer Committee Chair to solicit and engage volunteers for either specific CCAT events or to participate on CCAT committees
• Respond to volunteer inquiries and match individuals with volunteer roles

Volunteer Committee Member

• Maintain and build a volunteer database

Volunteer Opportunities General CCAT's volunteer Board organizes its work through Sub-Committees chaired by members of the board.  The effectiveness and efficiency of the Board is a direct reflection of the effectiveness and efficiency of its Committees. CCAT has six volunteer committees:

• Membership and Volunteer
• Information Technology
• Finance
• Marketing and Communication
